  • Searchable Database for Financial Assistance in the US
    For people living with cancer in the US, there is now a searchable database of financial resources. The database was created by a coalition of cancer support organizations in the US, called the Cancer Financial Aid Coalition (CFAC). The database is intended to be a user-friendly tool that compiles national funding opportunities.
  • Cancer Financial Aid Coalition (CFAC)

    CFAC is a user-friendly search tool designed to help people facing cancer locate financial resources. The search database is organized by a coalition of financial assistance organizations, including The Max Foundation, joining forces to help cancer patients experience better health and well-being by limiting financial challenges.

  • iCMLf- International Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Foundation

    The iCMLf is a Foundation established by a group of hematologists with a strong interest in CML with the mission of improving the outcomes for patients with CML globally. The foundation is currently registered as a charitable foundation in England and Wales but their charter is global.

  • CML Advocates Network

    The CML Advocates Network is a worldwide virtual network of non-profit organizations supporting patients with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) and their relatives. The network helps by sharing knowledge and best practice, supporting campaigns, and educating advocates how to build and grow patient groups.

  • UICC, International Union Against Cancer

    The International Union Against Cancer (UICC) is the leading international non-governmental organization dedicated exclusively to the global control of cancer. Their mission is to connect, mobilize and support cancer organizations and individuals with knowledge and skills to be effective and their vision is a dynamic global community of connected cancer control organizations, professionals and volunteers working together to eliminate cancer as a major life-threatening disease for future generations.

  • Chronic Myeloid Leukemia: An Update of Concepts and Management Recommendations of European LeukemiaNet

    The purpose of this scientific article, published in November 2009, is to “review and update the European LeukemiaNet (ELN) recommendations for the management of chronic myeloid leukemia with imatinib and second-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), including monitoring, response definition, and first- and second-line therapy.” The study was conducted by key opinion leaders in the field of CML.
