Advocates in CML and GIST from around the world came together in Amsterdam, for all of usLast weekend, more than 100 CML and GIST patient advocates gathered in Amsterdam, attending the 2011 New Horizons in Treating Cancer congress. Advocates came from Europe, North America, Asia, Australia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America, representing your voice and mine. The exchange of ideas, knowledge and resources is a critical way for everyone to come together in order to strengthen the entire CML and GIST global communities. By meeting each other in person, networks are enhanced and people become energized to work together through the year towards support and problem solving across borders.
