Mei Ching brings over two decades of experience dedicated to improving the lives of people living with cancer and chronic diseases, with a strong focus on access to treatment, diagnostics, and support. She currently oversees programs across 26 countries in Asia and Eastern Europe, leading a passionate regional team of 16, working within diverse communities, cultures, and health systems.
Her work focuses on strategic planning, building partnerships, and addressing barriers to treatment access – always grounded in the belief that healthcare must be patient-centric. Mei Ching sees access to treatment as the foundation for building more equitable and compassionate health systems. She holds a degree in Nutrition and Community Health from a university in Malaysia.
Outside of work, Mei Ching enjoys hiking in tropical forests and has recently taken an interest in identifying native plants, a fulfilling way to reconnect with nature and appreciate the biodiversity around her.
