After more than 15 years in Edmonds, Washington, The Max Foundation is excited to announce we have moved our global headquarters to the city of Seattle. We are pleased to be settling into our new office space on the north shore of Lake Union.
Our strategic organizational move brings us closer to the global health hub that Seattle has become. We are exhilarated by the new and continuing opportunities for partnership and collaboration made possible by a closer proximity to our global health counterparts. We welcome the opportunity to explore the greater Seattle community and to find ways to involve its members in our work.
Through the years, our Edmonds neighbors have been gracious hosts and we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone for making our organization’s growth and development possible. Come visit us anytime in Seattle!

Launched in 2015, Chai for Cancer USA raises funds to provide treatment access for patients in India. The campaign’s inspiration and namesake come from our own Region Head for South Asia, Viji Venkatesh, who started the original Chai for Cancer campaign in India one year earlier. Three years ago I made a decision that changed my life: to donate my birthday to support the work of The Max Foundation for as long as I have birthdays to come. Ever since I have been involved with The Max Foundation, every day I am witness to the courage of people faced with cancer, the generosity of spirit of those who become patient leaders, and the dedication of healthcare providers around the world.
